My Blackness is Forever.

While I appreciate everyone sharing pro-Black posts & images, just know my Blackness isn’t a fad or trend. The discrimination I face doesn’t end because society gets bored of it, like they did with Tiger King or Snapchat. Black people were legally beaten, abused & murdered long before myself and it looks to continue after I’m dead & gone.

Will others care 6 months from now, when were not forced to look at our phones all day? Or 6 years? How bout 60? Do more than just post Black images & quotes. Read books, have conversations, support Black businesses, meet new people, DO SOMETHING.

Keep the same energy you now, 5 years from now. Because, if you find yourself only caring about Black lives when it’s trending on twitter, then you gotta ask yourself where do you stand, for us or against us
